My son is really starting to love to pretend play and this PLAYMOBIL Hidden Temple looked to be right up his alley. We love dinosaurs in this house. We picked up the Rescue Ladder Unit, too, because real life heroes come in at a close second. These toys are great not only for play but for building up little ones and growing their imagination, behavioral, cognitive and social skills.

He was so excited to unbox these new toys and see what they were all about. Here are a few ways that PLAYMOBIL will help him grow and learn.
For starters, this PLAYMOBIL set is huge, it had a lot of pieces to put together, which means more customizations and ways to customize your own play experience. We had a lot of fun initially working together to get it set up.
This helps with cognitive development because your kiddo will be problem-solving and following directions to build this set.
He really loved all of the detail in these pieces, and how they set the scene for some fun T-Rex adventures. They really set him up with the ability to use his imagination and create his own world. These sets help with social development by giving kids a place to express themselves and play out their own scenarios. Pretend play lets them experiment with our social and emotional roles, in a controlled way.
Pretend play and using their imagination gets children learning about language and how it shapes our world. I love any toys that get him engaged and using his imagination. We love that PLAYMOBIL has play sets that can take us to different worlds, as well as some real-life setups, like with the Rescue Ladder Unit.
These are so important for our kiddos development, and I love that PLAYMOBIL helps them to develop these skills. I also was very impressed by the high quality of these toys. They will definitely stand up to my wild boys for a long time. With pretend play, they can let their wild out in a supervised way, which helps with self regulation, too.
Building the Imagination
The best part of pretend play- it builds the imagination. The more we get our little ones using their imaginations the more it will keep growing. This helps them to get creative and understand things around them. My son was really amazed by this set, and I’d definitely say the T-Rex won him over. I’ll admit, I think he enjoys playing with the T-Rex as the main role, even though it is obvious these little characters and working hard on their jungle explorations. He really enjoyed being able to customize his play, moving pieces of the set around, dressing up the characters with their accessories, and more.
I can definitely see these PLAYMOBIL sets being some that we collect, we could have an entire world of imaginative play at our fingertips. You can find these toys at your local Walmart, seen below.
Whether your kiddos love dinosaurs or police officers and fireman, these sets will have them using their imagination to create scenes and scenarios that are all their own. Find out more about PLAYMOBIL here.
