I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for P&G. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All opinions and reviews are my own.
I feel like we all have someone in our family whose skin is sensitive. For my family, that’s me! I feel like my skin is always going crazy, and I’ve been kind of waiting to see if my kiddos will inherit this trait from me or if they will have my husband’s skin that can withstand anything. Either way, a few simple measures can help ensure that my skin stays calm, healthy, and free from irritation.
Usually when we think of sensitive skin, we think of body wash, soap, lotions, etc… but did you know that laundry can be just as important? Nearly half of adults in the US have sensitive skin, but they often forget that that the products they’re using for their fabrics (their second skincare) can either be contributing to or helping the problem, depending on what you use.
I’ve found that using P&G Free & Gentle products along with my regular skin care routine is the best way to keep my skin in the best shape. The P&G Free & Gentle line is made of dye and perfume free products that offer those with sensitive skin a hypoallergenic routine that is easy on the skin… they’re even dermatologist recommended!
The Free & Gentle collection consists of-
–Tide Free & Gentle Detergent / Tide Stain Release Free In-Wash Booster
Now that we’ve made the switch, I also feel like my mind can be at ease once the new baby gets here. In a month or so we’ll probably start stocking up on clothes & this way all of his or her stuff can be washed in P&G Free & Gentle, so we know we won’t have any newborn skin surprises. One less thing to worry about!
Does anyone in your family suffer from sensitive skin? Have you given P&G Free & Gentle products a try?
