I don’t know about you guys, but laundry can very quickly take over my entire life and my whole home, it feels like. There will be piles in each room, overflowing baskets in my laundry room, and just the thought of having to fold all of that once it is washed really makes me want to pull my hair out. My laundry hack that I’m sharing today and Member’s Mark® Ultimate Clean Detergent from Sam’s Club are helping me keep my family’s laundry under control.
Before I know it we are fishing for laundry among the overstuffed clean baskets and we’re late because we couldn’t find clothes for everyone to wear. Laundry does not have to be this way, there is definitely a better method, and whether you do a load each day or you have one day a week to tackle all your laundry, it works.
Member’s Mark laundry formulas have gotten an upgrade for even more stain fighting and brightening power. They remove stains the first time, and give you a great clean for an awesome value.
You can purchase Member’s Mark laundry products from your local Sam’s Club or online at SamsClub.com. Plus, look for the Instant Savings Booklet for $2.00 off between 12/27/17 and 1/28/18.
Then, here is my super secret to taming the laundry monster at my house. Once I tell you, you are probably going to say duh! that’s so simple. But, basically, you need to wash, dry, fold, repeat. Technically, you need to put away as well, but for the purposes of this post we’re going to focus on the principle of doing a load start to finish.
As soon as my clothes are done drying, I love it when I can get them folded or hung on hangers and put away immediately. It takes just a few minutes of my time to fold an entire load of laundry when I’m really focused on it.
If you do a load a day, just make sure that before the end of the day you’ve made it through folding and putting away that load. Then, if you are a person who does all of your laundry in one day, make sure that each load gets completed throughout the day. Try not to let it pile up. I consider this the fold as you go technique.
If you have a laundry room table or counter that you can fold on, great, but I have a small home and have been known to just use my bed, the kitchen table, or even the top of the washer and dryer, mostly the dryer. It can definitely be done.
You can grab this handy printable here to remind you of this laundry strategy, and to remind yourself that if you don’t wash, dry, fold, repeat, you will be at the mercy of the laundry monster.
Now that I have 2 kids, I feel like I am always washing laundry. My husband has work clothes that need to be cleaned, and kids just seem to go through a whole lot of laundry.
I love to stay stocked up on detergent and other laundry products with Sam’s Club. Lately I’ve really been loving the savings that I get by purchasing Member’s Mark Ultimate Clean Detergent, and it is the perfect clean for my family.
