I’m back today with more fun Easter tips for you! Today we’re planning Easter dinner, so I wanted to share my tips for pulling off a wonderful Easter meal for your family! I’ve also created a few adorable Easter themed planning printables to make the process a breeze.
Okay, so your first step is to know who is coming. You can always call and invite, but I created a fun Easter dinner invitation for you, as well, which you can download here. So, choose your guests and make sure they’re invited.
Hopefully, guests will RSVP, but if not, you can always follow up with them and find out if they’ll be able to attend. That’s where your guest list comes in. Download that printable here. I’ve set it up so that you can keep track of invited guests, how many other family members or friends they’ll be bringing, what dish they’re bringing if they volunteer anything, and if they’ve given their RSVP.
Next, you’ll want to plan your menu. Remember to keep in mind any dishes that guests have offered to bring. Plan your main dish, any appetizers for guests for the time while waiting to eat, side dishes, drinks, and of course, desserts!
While there are many from scratch recipes that my mother would never let me get out of making, I still rely on a little help when putting together our dinner.
I like to make life easy on myself by planning a few ready-made or easy to make items. One of my favorites is Marie Callender’s® Pies. They’re inexpensive and so convenient when you are putting together a meal. They’re a hit every year and our entire family loves them. My favorite thing about Marie Callender’s® Pies is that they’re homemade with real ingredients. No other frozen pie really compares. Plus, my mother never questions it! They’re my go-to pies for when I need the quick and easy, perfect way to top off a meal that I’m serving.
You can use this Easter menu printable to plan out your entire meal. Download it here!
Finally, you’ll want to make sure you have all of the extra supplies that you’ll need to make Easter dinner a hit. I love dressing up the table with fun Spring accents, and even better if I can find some serving plates or dishes that really make it fun. You can plan a nice centerpiece with fresh flowers and other Easter and Spring decor, too!
I get my Marie Callender’s® Pies and all of my Easter decor right at my local Walmart.
The best part is that I’m not making multiple stops all over town, which definitely takes some of the stress out of my Easter planning, and they have everything I need to make the holiday celebration a hit! What Easter celebrations are you looking forward to this year? Easter dinner, dying eggs, maybe an Easter egg hunt? Share with us in the comments!
