Halloween is almost here, and we are whipping up lots of fun treats. Today I wanted to share a tutorial with you guys for a treat that my little man loves. Monster pretzels! He thinks these are so fun, and this treat is very kid-friendly if they want to help you put it together!
We made some plain, too, because mama likes her pretzels without eyeballs. 😉
Here’s what you’ll need:
Milk Chocolate Chips
White Chocolate Chips
Orange Candy Melts
Alright, so first you are going to want to melt your chocolate. I do this and keep it kid friendly by microwaving for 30 second intervals and stirring in between. It usually take a total of a minute and a half to get the chocolate melted. Same for the candy melts, but just a note, the candy melts harden back much faster than the chocolate!
I put the orange melted candy in a simple ziploc bag, snipped off one of the corners, and we were ready to go.
I usually just toss a few pretzels into the chocolate at a time and fish them out with a fork or tongs. Then you’ll drizzle over your orange candy, sprinkle on some sprinkles, and add your candy eyeballs!
There you go, a fun and kid-friendly (to make and to eat) treat just in time for Halloween!
Toss a few in a treat bag and you have a fun Halloween gift!
We have been busy stocking up on Halloween candy, and we are going to have an Iron Man and a monkey out trick-or-treating this year! What are you looking forward this year? Tell us in the comments!
