As a family, we try to stay healthy during the Fall and Winter months by eating well and staying active. Getting outdoors is a great way to do that. The weather is cooling down, which means it is a great time to get outside with your family. We practice our hand washing and get a little help from our favorite Nature Made supplements, too!
There are a lot of things that you can do outdoors, but today I wanted to share 5 things that are free! We are all saving money for the holidays so free family fun is a great way to spend weekends.
Get out and play! Visit your local park for fun time on the playground, or take a football for a fun family game.
Make Yard Work Fun
Get the whole family involved and make yard “work” fun. Rake leaves and have fun jumping in them when you are done!
Become Outdoor Artists
Sidewalk chalk and sidewalk chalk paint are fun ways to spend time outside getting creative.
Go on a Hike
Visit your local state park and take in the sights and sounds of nature with a family hike.
Go on a Scavenger Hunt
Make a list of fun Fall nature items and see who can find everything on the list first.
Go Camping in the Back Yard
You don’t have to go far for a fun family camping trip! Pitch a tent in the back yard and make some smores on the fire pit!
Go on a Picnic
Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a fun meal as a family.
There are so many things you can do outside, but hopefully these gave you some great ideas and inspiration.
On top of getting outdoors and staying active, keep your family feeling great with Nature Made.
