Hey friends! I dropped off a bit on sharing my monthly meal plans, but I’m working on getting reorganized for the New Year. So, I filmed this Meal Plan With Me video where you can see my process of planning a whole month of meals. It takes me 30-45 minutes, but my dinners are planned and saved on my Pinterest board for a whole month.
Be sure to sign up for my email list below, you can get this Month of Meals sheet absolutely free when you do.
Also, I talk a lot in the video about wanting to find healthier meals. Not all of the dinners I chose fall into that category, but I definitely picked some healthier things and sprinkled them throughout the month. I’m also hesitant to try a whole bunch of new recipes at once because it can be a real bummer when you have multiple recipes not turning out to be something your family likes all in the same week. So, hopefully, as we go we can find more healthy options and find ways to alter our current favorites to be a bit healthier. One thing we’ve really been enjoying lately is finding new gluten-free pasta options. Our family isn’t necessary gluten intolerant, but we are definitely sensitive to it and can notice a difference when we avoid it.
You can see the video of my process here-
Tacos (self-explanatory, for Taco Tuesdays!)
Teriyaki Chicken with broccoli and rice
Turkey and Sweet Potato Skillet
Breakfast for dinner (self-explanatory, this is my favorite pancake recipe)
Spaghetti (basic, noodles, ground beef, sauce)
Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes
Crock Pot Chicken & Gravy with rice
Copy Cat Olive Garden Gnocchi Soup
Chicken & Broccoli Shells & Cheese
I mentioned in the video how helpful these Favorites sheets can be for keeping a record of the recipes your family has tried and enjoyed. This gives you a big bank of recipe ideas to start with. I will also set down and do a more detailed weekly meal plan sheet on Sunday where I fill in which dinners we’re making, sides, and even breakfast and lunch ideas. I’m adding all of these printables into a Meal Planning section within my 2019 Happy Planner.
You can get my Meal Planning Printables here, from my Etsy shop. They’re yours to keep and they come in two sizes- letter size and half letter size. You can put them into a regular 3 ring binder or in an A5 or half size binder.
I also have a handy tutorial on how to resize printables for your Happy Planner, here. That’s what I did for my planner in the video.
