What’s In My Diaper Bag – Toddler Summer Edition + Giveaway

It is officially Summer, which means lots of getting outside, going on adventures, and all of those other warm weather things we like to get into. So, today I wanted to share with you guys what’s in my toddler’s diaper bag. I have a four year old and a one year old, so sometimes we may throw in an extra change of clothes for my preschooler, too, but this is mostly just for the toddler at this point.
Here are the basic essentials I include:
- Extra change of clothes
- Diapers
- Wipes
- A few toys/books to entertain him
- Snacks- right now we are loving the Go & Grow by Similac
Some other Summertime extras you could include ( that I need to add) are sunscreen, bug spray, and those other outdoor necessities. Sunglasses and a hat would be great, too!
We recently got the chance to try these Go & Grow by Similac pouches. They are so easy to throw in my bag on the go, and help me make sure he’s getting the nutrition he needs on the go. They are the perfect snack at home, too!
I was really excited to learn about Go & Grow by Similac. When I think of Similac, I think of nutrition, so I knew we had to try the pouches. They are definitely our new go-to since my toddler loves them.
You can see he gets really serious about his pouches. This particular pouch was helping me avoid the pre-dinner meltdown and letting me get dinner cooked and on the table. There is a variety of flavors available for both babies 6 months + and toddlers. Each pouch has 3-4 servings of combined fruits and veggies or 1/3 the daily recommended servings for your toddler. They are also Certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO, and they do not contain fillers, artifical colors, or artificial flavors.
The Go & Grow by Similac line also includes a Toddler Drink Mix, which you can mix into your toddler’s milk. I know it felt like the switch from formula to cow’s milk was so sudden, and I would have loved to have these then. However, my toddler still enjoys them now in his milk, so that’s another way he can get a little added nutrition.
Getting little ones switched from formula or breast milk to solid foods can be a challenge, even well past making the switch. Toddlers can sure be picky, and their interests and tastes can change daily. I love that Go & Grow by Similac helps me keep mine on track and make sure we’re meeting his nutritional needs on those days he gives me a hard time eating.
