How to Save Money on Planner Supplies

Hey planner friends! Today I wanted to share a few of my tips for getting the most for your planner money, and how to save money on planner supplies.

Now, I do want to say, I don’t like to perpetuate the need for shop owners to always have to have sales to get customers, but let’s be honest, we buy from our favorite shops with or without a coupon, right? Shop sales are a great way to try a new shop that you wouldn’t normally be able to. If you have a shop that you love, make an effort to buy whether they hold a sale or not, and use sales as a time to stock up on things you need.


Another way that you can get cash back on planner supply purchases is through Ebates. I love Ebates because they literally do cash back deals for everything, from Amazon to Michaels, to Etsy! All you do is go through the Ebates site and click on the place you are looking to shop from. Your Ebates account will be noted and you will receive cash back on purchases, the amount depends on what the percentage is for that retailer. You can also refer your friends to Ebates to earn some extra money.

When shopping for Happy Planner and other supplies at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or Joanns, be sure you grab the coupon for the week. All three stores typically have a 40-50% off one item coupon that comes out every single week!

  1. Don’t forget the dollar stores. They have great seasonal stickers. Lots of items that can be used for planners. Check out the office supply and craft areas of the stores. I just for a book of fun and beautiful autumn stickers for $1. Woo hoo.
