The holiday season is here! That means lots of gatherings with friends and family, yummy treats, and even more festive fun to be had. Today I’m sharing this Coffee and Cupcakes bar that is so easy and simple to put together, plus a recipe for Chocolate Truffle Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Icing.
I set this bar up with pre-made cupcakes, plus some sprinkles for a little extra decorating. You could add even more fun cupcake toppings to your bar if you wanted. Then, I set up a coffee station with my coffee maker, the must-have Starbucks® Holiday Blend 60ct K-Cup® pods (available at Sam’s Club), coffee supplies, and some Lindt Chocolate Assorted Lindor Truffles for guests.
These cupcakes turned out so delicious, and so perfect for the holidays. They were so simple and easy to make, plus I added some Lindt Chocolate Assorted Lindor Truffles for an extra special touch. It’s a surprise, which flavor truffle is in which cupcake. That makes these super fun!

Here’s what you need to make the Truffle Cupcakes-
- Your favorite cupcake mixes. I picked chocolate fudge and white cake mixes for a little variety.
- Ingredients from the back of the box, usually oil, and eggs, plus some water.
- Lindt Chocolate Assorted Lindor Truffle Bag – 19 oz (available at Sam’s Club)
Then, for the icing you’ll need-
- 3 cups of powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup of butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1-2 tbsp milk
Start by preparing your cupcakes. Line your cupcake pan with liners, and get to work. Follow the directions on each box for mixing these, then fill the cups 2/3 full.
Right before they go into the oven, pop a Lindt Chocolate Assorted Lindor Truffle right into the middle of each cupcake. This added such a fun touch to these cupcakes. Follow the baking instructions on your box for cupcakes. Ours cooked at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
I cooled my cupcakes in the refrigerator while I whipped up the frosting. To do that, beat the butter and powdered sugar with your mixer on medium speed. Then, stir in the vanilla and milk and mix well. I used a rubber spatula and folded the ingredients into each other and it came out perfect. If your icing,is too thin, you can add more powdered sugar. If it’s too thick, add just a tiny amount of milk. Stir well again and test your consistency.
Once your cupcakes are prepared, you can prep your holiday coffee station supplies. Starbucks® Holiday Blend 60ct K-Cup® pods are the coffee star.
Sugar is a must, plus your favorite creamer or milk. You could add other options for sweeteners, too. I put out some marshmallows because they are for more than just hot chocolate. You could put out some whipped cream, too! Basically, include any yummy coffee and cupcake toppings you can think of will make this bar great.
I love how easy this coffee bar creates a fun holiday get together.
We love the Starbucks® Holiday Blend 60ct K-Cup® pods because they are convenient and taste great. The sweet maple flavor is perfection, and pairs so deliciously with the Lindt Chocolate Assorted Lindor Truffles.
I am looking forward to a ton of holiday festivities this year, and we will definitely be doing this again!
