We’ve talked here on the blog about having a summer bucket list and all of the fun activities there are to do this summer, but one thing that is definitely on my to-do list is to get away from it all- on a boat.
We’ve never been boating together as a family and that’s definitely something we’re wanting to do with the kids.
We have a lot of great places near us to get out on a boat, but sometimes I think- how do we even do this? How can we find places to rent a boat? What do we need to know?
That’s where DiscoverBoating.com comes in.
You can get all the help you need to find your perfect recipe for summer fun. Compare different boat styles, and find out what kind of boat you would love. We would definitely want a boat great for relaxing, but that we could fish from, too. Fishing we do know, so naturally that’s probably what my husband and son would want to do on the boat. You can also use the Get on the Water tab on DiscoverBoating.com to find local boat rentals, clubs, classes, and charters near you.
Some of my best memories as a kid during summer involved getting out on a boat and spending time relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. I want my kids to have those same experiences, and more!
Looking to own your own boat so your family can get out on the water whenever you want? Use the boat selector tool to learn what type of boat fits your lifestyle and budget.
Many Americans feel like their families do not spend enough time outdoors, and many parents feel that their kids respond better to activities on the water when it comes to turning off those electronic devices. These are keys to a fun summer, and it’s a definite fact that many Americans feel better afterwards and find time spent on the water very relaxing.
This sounds like a summer dream, to me.
