Okay, so the first think you need to know about Happy Planner, and something I think makes this product unique is the fact that there are so many different designs to choose from. Not only are the covers different, but each planner has its own distinct style. The Happy Planner version I’m showing you today is the “Peony” design! However, there are eight other styles to pick from, including one BIG version that is 8 1/2 x 11 inches.
Okay, so let’s take a look at the Peony Happy Planner, which is my personal favorite.
Each 18 month planner features:
- Sturdy, laminated covers
- Laminated tabs
- Some dividers treated with FOIL
- 2016-17 year-at-a-glance calendar pages
- Unique monthly and weekly layouts
Covers – 7.75” x 9.75”
Pages – 7” x 9.25”
One feature I love about this planner is the beautiful photography and images that are used, which drew my into this beautiful floral inspired design.
Another feature of this planner that I love is this page that is included for each month- a place to record some fun details about what’s happening in your life, a place to write upcoming birthdays and other important dates for the month and finally, a space to write what you are currently grateful for. Add in the at a glance calendars for the current, previous, and next month, and I love this sheet!
Another thing that attracted me to this planner was the beautiful monthly tab pages. Foil details really make these pages fun and beautiful to look at. Bonus points for motivational quotes!
I really love the discbound planning style, and the fact that you can add or remove pages as needed. Later this week I’m sharing a tutorial on how to resize printables you find online to fit into this planner. (Make sure you are subscribed!)
When you get to the planning portions of the book, you start with a simple, beautiful monthly layout, which the floral theme carried throughout.
And for the weekly layouts, you have these small pops of color on an otherwise simple layout- I find that often times, simple is better when it comes to the actual planning space, and I absolutely love the quotes included on these pages.
Overall, I love this planning system. I started many moons ago planning with the Martha Stewart discbound items from Staples, and this is definitely a more fun, colorful version of that. This planner takes me back to my roots and I love the interchangeability that it provides. Add in some dividers and add different sections to your planner! MAMBI is on the ball with beautiful accessories and additions for this planner as well. You can find all of the goodies over at their website, and of course at your local Michaels craft store.
These planners start in July and I think I will be using mine to plan for my blog!
