We are obsessed with this fun and festive Grinch Martini. If you are looking for the ultimate holiday cocktail, this one is a great option. We whipped this up with just a few ingredients (and food coloring is NOT one of them). Taste one for yourself and make these your new holiday go-to.

Ingredients

• Vodka – we used plain vodka, the higher quality vodka you use, the smoother the drink will taste
• Midori – melon liqueur that gives us the gorgeous green color, and a sweet fruity flavor.
• Lemon Juice- for a little bite, squeeze fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
• Simple Syrup – adds sweetness, an equal mixture of sugar and water- you can adjust this to your tastes.
• Ice
• Maraschino cherry for garnish, representing the Grinch’s heart.

Directions

Step 1: To a martini glass, add a maraschino cherry.

Step 2: To a cocktail shaker, add ice, vodka, Midori, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well to combine and chill.

Step 3: Pour into the cocktail glass, strained. Enjoy!

Extra Tips

Chill your glass – place your martini glass, or glasses, in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before preparing. It will keep your drink cold longer.

Balance the drink– taste test your cocktail before pouring, if it is too sweet, add a splash of lemon juice, or if it is too tart, add a bit of simple syrup.

Shake well – Use a good amount of ice in your cocktail shaker, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds. This makes sure that the drink is sufficiently chilled and well combined.

Get creative with garnishes– Place the maraschino cherry carefully in the bottom of the glass for a dramatic look or skewer it on a cocktail pick for a floating garnish. If you’re feeling festive, a sugar rim in green adds a delightful holiday touch.
