Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp. Cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup Milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp. Granulated sugar
  • ½ tbsp. Molasses
  • 1 ½ tsp. Ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp. Nutmeg
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Gingerbread cookies for topping, optional

Directions

Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine cocoa powder, chocolate chips, sugar, molasses, ginger, nutmeg, and milk.

Step 2: Heat over medium-high heat, whisking occasionally, until chocolate is melted, and the mixture is steamy.

Step 3: Pour into two mugs, and top with whipped cream, and a gingerbread cookie.
