Why we love this recipe-

  • Everyone can make their own fun and easy mini heart-shaped pizzas, complete with their individual favorite pizza toppings that they like!
  • The flatbread makes this recipe so easy, but you can make your own pizza crust, cut a store bought crust, or use any other pizza bottom you prefer (cut into a heart, of course).
  • This recipe makes enough for a nice snack or dinner for the kiddos. If you want to make these for the whole family, you may want to double it, at least.

Substitution ideas & Tips:

  • If you aren’t a fan of flatbread, you can always make your own pizza dough hearts with homemade pizza dough or store bought refrigerated pizza dough. Just pre-bake according to the directions before assembling with your toppings.
  • If you’d like, you can brush a little olive oil onto your “crust” before topping for some extra crisp.
  • For extra toppings, add whatever you like. Red onions, black olives, fresh basil, heck, even pineapple or ham if that’s your jam!
  • Use a sharp knife to cut little pepperoni hearts, too, if you are feeling extra.

We hope you enjoy these mini heart shaped pizzas and that they bring a little joy to your Valentines Day celebrations.
