It’s no secret, we love shopping at Aldi. I feel like a millionaire when I can go in there and get a whole cart full of groceries for around $100, seriously. Today I’m sharing a haul video of everything we got, along with some meals that we’ll be using these groceries for. Hopefully, you’ll get some budget-friendly grocery inspiration and meal ideas for your family!
I know that many will feel like this is not healthy and while, no, my recipes are not the healthiest recipes created, we do try to use good ingredients, include lots of fruit and vegetables, and eat proper portions as well. We are on a strict budget while we are getting out of debt, so this is what is currently working for our family. My purpose for sharing this is to help other mamas feed their families on a budget, so negative comments will be deleted.
You can catch the grocery haul video here-
Also, a fun little Aldi find from this week- we found these 3 wick Bath and Body Works candle dupes for just $3.99, I really expected a chemical smell, kind of like dollar store candles, but these all smelled really great, so I picked one up to try out. As with all things Aldi, these won’t stick around, so if you spot them at your store, grab one, or two, or three. Haha!

Here’s what we’ll be making with these groceries-
Breakfasts for the kids-
Pancakes
French Toast Sticks
Cheerios
These are quick & easy for weekday mornings.
My husband and I usually do egg sandwiches for breakfast, which we’ve got the items on hand for.
Lunch supplies for the kids-
We already have sandwich supplies, but we’ll also pack-
These pizza roll-ups.
Crackers
Cookies for the toddler
Gummies for a treat
Grapes for lunch
Chicken nuggets for lunches at home
My husband and I typically do salads or leftovers for lunch, and we do end up making a mid-week trip for fresh salad supplies.
Dinners-
Garlic Parmesan Penne Pasta (we use this recipe, but have been enjoying it with bowtie pasta)
Basic Spaghetti w/ Meat Sauce
Lasagna Soup
Shrimp Alfredo (had shrimp on hand, we use bowties for this one too)
One Pan Chicken & Potatoes (we love doing this and swapping the green beans for baby carrots)
Buffalo Cauliflower “Wings”
We got bulk chicken & beef, which will make more meals than just these. Here are some of our favorites.
Beef-
Cheesy Taco Pasta
Shepherd’s Pie
Chicken-
“Healthy” Chicken Pot Pie
Chicken Teriyaki Bowls
