These Salted Caramel Pudding Shots are delicious, and the perfect Fall treat. This is our same simple pudding shot recipe brought to the next level with sweet and salty caramel.

Salted Caramel Pudding Shots

Why we love this recipe-

  • We love delicious pudding shots and jello shots here, of course, because these little boozy desserts are a huge hit any time we serve them.
  • It doesn’t get easier than pudding shots, they can be served immediately, or you can chill them in the refrigerator until ready to serve. For best results, hold off on the whipped cream until just before serving.
  • You can totally customize these shots- try different liquors, etc- imagine salted caramel whiskey pudding shots made with salted caramel Crown Royal! The possibilities are endless.
  • Our little pudding shot cups make these so easy to serve. They come with lids if you need them, as well, making this the perfect party treat.

Substitutions & Tips:

  • You could use any flavor pudding in these fun shots, it does not have to be vanilla. Chocolate would also be a delicious addition with the caramel swirled in, so you could use instant chocolate pudding mix, or even white chocolate pudding.
  • Feel free to use any caramel syrup or sauce you prefer. We really love Mrs. Richardson’s caramel sauce, but Torani and Ghirardelli are also delicious. For these shots specifically we used Ghirardelli’s Sea Salt Caramel sauce.
  • Use any vodka you have on hand, the sauce is going to lend so much caramel flavor that you don’t absolutely have to have the caramel vodka. Plain vodka would work just fine, or experiment with any liquor you like.
  • For a little extra something, sprinkle a bit of flaky sea salt over these shots.
  • For an easier time filling the 2 ounce cups, use a cookie scoop!

We hope you enjoy these adorable pudding shots. This is such an easy recipe that is sure to be a crowd pleaser, the perfect little indulgent treat for a fun movie night or girls night this Fall.
