Ingredients

- 12 ounces red candy melts
- 12 ounces blue candy melts
- 12 ounces vanilla almond bark
- 4th of July sprinkles

How to Make 4th of July Oreo Balls
Step 1: Crush the Oreos
Add half of the Oreo cookies to a food processor and blend into crumbs. Add the remaining Oreos and blend again until all cookies are finely crushed.

Step 2: Mix with cream cheese
Add the softened cream cheese to the crumbs and blend until fully combined. The mixture should be soft and easy to roll.

Step 3: Roll into balls
Roll the Oreo mixture into 1-1 1/2 inch balls and place them on a wax paper-lined baking sheet.

Step 4: Chill
Refrigerate the Oreo balls for up to 1 hour to help firm them up.
Step 5: Smooth the shape
After chilling, roll them again quickly to smooth out any uneven edges.
Step 6: Coat in candy melts
Melt the blue candy melts by microwaving for 30 second increments, stirring well in between, until melted.
Dip half of the Oreo balls in the blue coating. Let the excess drip off (a fork works great for this). Quickly add sprinkles to some of the dipped Oreo balls.

Repeat with the red candy melts and the remaining Oreo balls.

Step 7: Drizzle
Melt the almond bark by microwaving for 30 second increments, stirring well in between. Transfer to a sandwich bag or piping bag and snip off just the tip. Drizzle over the undecorated Oreo balls, and add sprinkles to the white drizzle.

Step 8: Let set
Allow the Oreo balls to set for about 30 minutes-1 hour until the coating and drizzle have all firmed up.

Tips for the Best Oreo Balls
- Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing.
- Don’t skip chilling- it helps the Oreo balls hold their shape while dipping
- Use a fork or dipping tool for smoother coating
- Work quickly with sprinkles before the candy hardens
- Store in the fridge until ready to serve, since these do have cream cheese inside.

Fun Variations
- Use white chocolate for all coating and drizzle red/blue on top
- Add flavored Oreos for a twist (golden, birthday cake, etc.)
- Turn them into Oreo pops by adding lollipop sticks.
- Swap sprinkles for edible glitter or stars

Ingredients

- 12 oz. red candy melts
- 12 oz. blue candy melts
- 12 oz. vanilla almond bark
- 4th of July sprinkles
Instructions
- Add half the Oreo cookies to your food processor, and blitz to crumbs.
- Add the remaining Oreos, and blitz again until they're all crumbs.
- Add the 8 ounces cream cheese, and mix in the processor until well combined.
- Roll the oreo and cream cheese mixture into 1-1 1/2 inch balls, and place onto a sheet pan or cutting board covered with wax paper.
- Once all of the mixture is rolled, move them to the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour.
If needed, after the hour is up, roll the Oreo balls again to make them more round (sometimes they will settle). - After chilling, heat the blue candy melts in the microwave by heating for 30 second increments, stirring well in between.
- Drop blue candy over half of the Oreo balls, letting the excess drip off. Place them back onto the wax paper. For the best results, place each ball onto a fork and let the candy fall over.
- Top every other blue Oreo truffle with sprinkles, quickly before the candy sets. (We'll drizzle the others with more candy.)
- For the remaining Oreo balls, melt the red candy melts in the microwave by heating on 30 second increments, stirring well in between.
- Add sprinkles to every other red Oreo ball.
- For the white drizzle, melt the almond bark in the microwave, by heating on 30 second increments.
- Pour the melted almond bark into a plastic sandwich storage bag. Then, snip off a tiny spot from one corner.
- Drizzle the blank Oreo balls with the white candy, and quickly add sprinkles.
Allow the Oreo truffles to set for 30 minutes, and enjoy.
