This recipe is so much fun. We took the concept of dirt cups and turned them into pumpkin patch cups! When we made our pumpkin patch cupcakes I knew I had to do some Pumpkin Patch Pudding Cups, as well.

We kept these super simple so even little hands can help make them! We used instant pudding, and chocolate cookie crumbs that you can either crush by hand with a heavy spoon or rolling pin, or in your food processor, then decorated them with candy pumpkins and green frosting for the pumpkin vine.

Ingredients:

  • 2 (3 oz.) boxes of instant chocolate pudding
  • 4 cups of cold milk
  • 16 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • Mellowcreme Pumpkins for topping
  • Green cookie frosting for topping

For the cups for these pumpkin patch cups we used 9 ounce solo dessert cups!

Add any additional toppings you like. Gummy worms would also be super fun!

Directions:

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix and milk, until well combined.

Our favorite thing about these chocolate pudding cups is that they are made with individual serving cups, making them easy to serve for a kid friendly Halloween party or a kid-friendly movie night! They’d be so perfect for watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! They make such a cute snack and fun fall treat or school snack if you can bring homemade items. They’re also a great idea for celebrating a trip to your local pumpkin patch.

TIPS:

Make life super simple by making these with snack pack puddings. Make a fun station where your kiddos can pop open their snack pack and add the toppings how they like to make these cute little pumpkin patch dirt cups.
