- 2 cups milk
- 8 oz. cool whip
- About 32 oreos
- 10 eyeball candies
- 10 gummy worms
- 5 Milano Cookies
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 5 (9 oz.) clear plastic cups
Graveyard Pudding Cups Directions
Step 1: In your food processor, blitz oreo cookies into crumbs. Place into a spare bowl or plate and set aside.
Tip: If you don’t have a food processor, add the cookies to a sturdy gallon storage bag and crush the cookies with a rolling pin or heavy spoon.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 packages of pudding mixes and 2 cups of milk, until combined. Whisk in 8 oz. cool whip.
Step 3: Whisk in cool whip.
Step 4: Start layering your pudding cups by adding a few spoonfuls of Oreo crumbs to the bottom of each cup.
Step 5: Follow that up with some of the pudding mixture, another layer of Oreo crumbs, a 2nd pudding layer, and a 3rd layer of Oreo crumbs. Place these into the refrigerator.
Tip: To easily add the pudding mixture, pour it into a piping bag or a gallon size plastic bag, and snip off the tip to divide the mixture between the cups.
Step 6: Meanwhile, place your Milano cookies onto a plate and set aside. Then, melt chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, on 20 second increments, stirring well in between. Add to a plastic sandwich sized storage bag, and snip the very tip off of the bag. Use the melted chocolate to write “RIP” onto your Milano cookies. Decorate each cup with an RIP cookie, gummy worms, candy pumpkins, and eye candies.
Dirt Cup Recipe for Halloween Tips:
- You can make more cups with the same ingredients if you use smaller cups. We used 9 oz. cups here but you could always opt for 5 ounce cups!
- Use skim milk instead of whole milk for this recipe. With the addition of the cool whip, these pudding cups turn out pretty thick without needing whole milk.
- No need to use name brand Oreos here, you can use any chocolate sandwich cookie.
- If you don’t like chocolate pudding, you can substitute the pudding boxes for whatever flavor you prefer. Keep with the theme by adding a couple of drops of brown or black gel food coloring (at your own risk).
This Halloween dirt pudding is such a fun festive treat. Your Halloween party table won’t be complete without them! If you like this recipe, check out our other fun Halloween recipes-
