Erin Condren Daily Duo Frankenplanner
As promised, I’m back to share how I’m customizing my Erin Condren Life Planner for this year. I’ve made an Erin Condren Daily Duo frankenplanner! I have wanted a daily planner for a long time, and tried a few different things- undated daily pages added to my Happy Planner, a daily digital planner, etc… so I was really excited when Erin Condren announced they were releasing a daily planner. However, I knew I still wanted a weekly layout, too. One of the reasons I’ve always favored Happy Planner over Erin Condren is the ability to move things and change things around. I’ve seen people uncoil and recoil their Life Planners over the years but was kind of chicken to try it myself. But, I knew when the Daily Duo came out and everyone was talking about the possibilities of combining the Daily Duo with a weekly layout, so I had to give it a try.

What is a frankenplanner?
A frankenplanner is basically a planner that you put together, or in this case, take apart, to add things from other planners, or other supplies to “frankenplan” your own custom planner.

Here’s a peek at the combined planner. I used the weekly vertical layout Life Planner, and the Daily Duo Life Planner pages for four months. I used the monthly layouts from one of the planners, and did somehow end up with two dashboard pages per month, which I don’t mind. You can get a better idea from my video.

Finally, I’ve got all of the daily pages. I was able to fit four months into the planner this way, so I’ll only have to redo my coiled planner that often.

The pandemic has really thrown everything for a loop, including planning, so I’m looking forward to a fresh start.
