FAQs

How do I store leftover cheese ball?

It’s super easy to store any cheeseball leftovers that you have. Just like when we wrapped it when making it, you can easily re-wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap. Also, you can then place it in an airtight container, or give it another layer by also wrapping it in foil. You can store a cheese ball in the refrigerator for up to two days.

Can I just use pre-shredded cheese?

Yes! I used pre-shredded cheese for the cheese ball, freshly shredded cheese would have a better texture, but it is not required.

What is the best cream cheese to use?

For best results, use full fat cream cheese, and when it comes to cheese balls, we prefer the good stuff- brand name cream cheese works better because it is such a vital part of the recipe.

What can I serve with a cheeseball?

Whatever you like, honestly- think about providing everyone with a variety of dipping options in different textures and flavors. Crisp, crunchy crackers, or carrots are great options. We love using a spreader and putting some of the cheeseball onto Ritz or Club crackers. Crusty baguette can also be a great option, along with any other fresh veggies you love- cucumbers, bell peppers, etc!

What is the best way to serve an Easter Carrot Cheese Ball?

The Easter Carrot Cheese Ball can be served on a platter, with the top of the carrot garnished with a bunch of parsley for a festive and attractive presentation.

Can I make a cheese ball in advance?

Yes, you can absolutely prepare a cheese ball in advance. For this recipe, simply shape it into a carrot shape, wrap it in plastic wrap, and store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve it at your Easter party. Hold off on the outer toppings (in this case- cheese) until just before you are ready to serve.
