Red White and Blue Margarita
This Red White and Blue Margarita is a fun patriotic cocktail that is perfect for your 4th of July celebrations, Memorial Day, or other patriotic holidays like Labor Day. If you are looking for red white and blue cocktails, this one is perfect! Plus, it’s frozen which is great for the Fourth of July and Summer gatherings.
Why we love this drink-
- It contains strawberry, coconut, and blue colored lime margarita layers. Each layer is a different flavored margarita- which layer is your favorite flavor?
- The lime margarita layer is colored with blue curacao liqueur, which gives that layer a super smooth taste, but great blue color.
- While this recipe makes the perfect 4th of July margaritas, you can enjoy them any time of year if you are patriotic enough.

Substitutions & Tips:
- Instead of agave nectar, you can use simple syrup or other sweetener.
- If any layer is too thin, add extra ice, or thin out with just a bit of extra liquid. To get a good separation of colors, you do want this drink to be a thicker slushy consistency.
- You want a powerful blender for perfectly blended margaritas. We love our Ninja for the smoothest drinks!
We hope you love these patriotic margaritas. The red, white & blue frozen margarita layers are perfect for a fireworks-filled evening, or any of your Summer parties. For a full printable version of the recipe, see the recipe card below. You might also like these other fun cocktails & jello shots-
