This red white and blue charcuterie board is the perfect board for Memorial Day, Labor Day, the 4th of July, and any other patriotic theme celebrations during the Summer months. Our easy Patriotic Charcuterie Board is full of simple ingredients, and is one of our favorite ways to make sure guests aren’t getting hungry waiting on the grilling to be finished!

We love to take our meat and cheese board to the next level by including fruits, veggies, dips, and even a little something sweet. Our boards go way beyond just meats and cheeses.
Red White and Blue Patriotic Charcuterie Board Ingredients:
- 4 oz. Uncured Genoa Salami – we get ours right from Publix in the case across from the deli meats counter.
- 8-16 oz. Monterey Jack cheese (or other hard, white cheese), sliced a little thin, and cut into stars
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced
- 10 oz. grape tomatoes
- 2 lb. fresh strawberries

- ½ cup red white and blue M&Ms (or just red and blue if you can’t find the patriotic packs)
- Sour cream veggie dip (homemade sour cream dip or other store bought veggie dip)
- Fruit dip (homemade or store bought)
- Blue tortilla chips

You’ll also need a small cookie cutter, star shaped to cut out the cheese. We love this star cookie cutter set.

You can absolutely get creative with these ingredients- what red white and blue things would you include on a patriotic board?
How to Build Your Board
- The first step is to start building your board by pouring the veggie and fruit dips into small bowls, and letting those bowls be your starting point. It helps to anchor the board with larger items and fill in around them.
- Fold salami and place up against the dips on opposite sides.
- Begin filling in the veggies and chips on the veggie dip side of the board, and fruit on the fruit side of the board.
- Place cheese stars as you go. Move things around if needed to balance out the board.

Tips & Tricks

- For another fun, festive display, make an American flag charcuterie board by lining up your ingredients in the shape of the flag with a blue square in the upper left hand corner and red and white stripes filling the rest of the board.
- We love just using a large wooden cutting board for our charcuterie boards, it doesn’t take anything fancy to build a super festive board. Any wooden board will do!
