I have such a fun idea to share with you guys today. We are going to use Pilot FriXion® Pens to create a little holiday magic this Christmas. Your kiddos will love “sending” these magic Santa letters..
To do this, you’ll just need some cute Santa letters, we found these at Target, and Pilot FriXion® erasable pens.
You can also find Pilot FriXion® pens at Target! Click on the image below to shop them online.
You can also get 15% off any Pilot FriXion® Erasable Pen with this Target Cartwheel offer, through December 31st!
Here’s how the magic works- you’ll have your little one write their letter to Santa. Then, you’ll microwave the letter. Because these pens are erasable, the heat will make the words disappear (sending them to Santa Claus!). You’ll take the letter and play elf by writing Santa’s reply. Then, “erase” it. Have your little one put the letter in the freezer overnight. When they pull it out in the morning, their letter will be back, along with Santa’s reply! It’s so easy- you just microwave your letter on 10-15 second intervals, no more than 90 seconds total. It only took a couple of rounds in the microwave for our words to disappear. Definitely do this part with some adult supervision, just to be safe.
My son was so entranced by this, he has been all about magic lately, so this was right up his alley. He was so honest on his letter, I had to give him props for that!
I just love Pilot FriXion® pens for my planner, they write smoothly and erase cleanly, and I love that I could bring this little bit of fun to our holiday traditions. You can bet we will be doing this every year!
How adorable is this Christmas list?

You’ll find Pilot FriXion® pens in store on the pen aisle at your local Target!
My son couldn’t believe that his words could be sent to Santa, much less that he would get a reply. He kept running and telling his dad that it was so magical! I love these fun holiday traditions with my kids, they are the best and I was so excited to do this for them this year. Also, for another fun tip- dads usually make better elves for writing Santa’s reply.
