Ingredients
You’ll only need a few simple ingredients to make these fun jello shots-
Lime Jello – A 3 oz. box of lime jello, for the green layer.
Strawberry Jello – A 3 oz. box of strawberry jello, for the red layer.
Water – 3 cups of water to make the jello.
Vodka – 1 cup of vodka, divided between the jello flavors.
Whipped cream – for topping, for a more stable option, try cool whip!
Sprinkles – for the finishing touch, festive holiday sprinkles.

Directions
Step 1: Place your plastic shot cups into a shallow baking sheet that will fit into the refrigerator. Set aside.
Step 2: In a medium saucepan, bring 1 ½ cups of water to a boil.
Step 3: Remove from the heat and whisk in green jello, stirring until dissolved. Stir in ½ cup vodka. Pour the green jello evenly into the plastic cups.
Move them to the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours.

Step 4: After 2 hours, prepare the red jello. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 ½ cups of water to a boil. Remove from the heat and whisk in red jello, stirring until dissolved. Stir in ½ cup vodka.

Step 5: Allow the red jello mixture to cool completely, then pour evenly into the shot cups to make the 2nd layer. Move the cups back to the refrigerator to chill for another 2 hours.
Step 6: Before serving, top with whipped cream and christmas sprinkles.

Tips for Perfect Layered Christmas Jello Shots
- Patience is key! Let each layer set completely before adding the next, or adding toppings.
- For easier prep, use a small spoon, food syringe, or spouted measuring cup to pour the jello into the cups.
- If your top layer is too warm, it can melt the bottom layer of jello. Make sure you allow the red jello to cool to room temperature before pouring in.
- Keep the shots covered in the refrigerator until serving, for the freshest shots. Add toppings just before serving.

Variations
- For a family-friendly version, swap the vodka for more cold water, or juice for a kid-friendly party treat.
- Change up the flavors! You can try cherry and lime, raspberry and green apple, or cranberry and either green option for some different fun flavor combinations.
These layered Christmas Jello Shots are a fun and easy way to add some sparkle and color to your holiday celebrations. Whether you serve them for a family gathering, girl’s night, holiday movie night, or office Christmas party, they are sure to lift everyones’ spirits.
