Hey guys! I am so excited to share this with you today! I got my new 2017-2018 Erin Condren Life Planner and I wanted to share how beautiful this planner is. Then, I’ve also ordered a $50 ErinCondren.com gift card for one of you to win at the end, along with $25 credit to my shop! Also, I wanted to note that if you are a new Erin Condren customer, you can sign up through my link and get $10 off your purchase!
Okay so let’s jump right in- I just want to say to begin that my experience with launch has been really great. I ordered May 1st on the pre-launch sale, and my order shipped within the time frame it was supposed to. There’s always a lot of frustration surrounding launch time it seems, it is hard to wait so long for this awesome planner, but so worth it. Also, I wanted to note that everything in my order was correct, I got all of my items, and there aren’t any issues with my planner that I have seen yet. I have never really had a bad experience with my many Erin Condren orders, so I just wanted to put that out there because I know there is often a lot of negativity around her products for some. Anywho- back to the fun part.
Here’s my planner! This year I ordered the July 2017 – June 2018 12 month planner in colorful, hourly layout, with a black coil!
Here’s what you can customize on your planner:
- Color- colorful design vs. neutral
- Layout- vertical, horizontal, or hourly
- Coil- traditional platinum, rose gold, gold, and black
- Dates- 12 or 18 month layouts, plus you can choose a July or January start on the 12 month option
- Custom cover- choose your cover, and they’re interchangeable, so order a new one for your planner any time!
- As always, add your name, favorite quote, etc to the front cover
I absolutely love this painted petals design this year and I love all of the colors, which is why I chose the colorful layout over the neutral like I purchased last year.
*The today and month snap-in bookmarks are from Ashy Leigh Designs on Etsy!
As usual, the planner starts with some really pretty quotes.
Next, you have the yearly overview that goes all of the way through December.
Then, you have this section which gives you some freedom on what you want to do with it- there are 12 boxes, and a lot of people use this space for goal setting, important dates, things to do, or photos throughout the year.
The notes pages got a makeover this year and I kind of love it. I can’t wait to sit down and figure out how I want to use each section.
I absolutely love the dividers this year- the painted petals and the watercolor. They are so pretty, here are a few of my favorites-
I just love all of the color this year, did I mention that? 😉
Now what you’ve all been waiting for, the monthly layout!
and, the weekly layout! This is the hourly and of course there is also a vertical and horizontal option, too. The website now has a great tool that lets you look at all of your options and customize your perfect planner.
There are a few notes pages and a few coloring pages at the end of the planner this year, followed by this quote page and new stickers! I love the foil touches.
So there you have a nice selection of functional stickers right there in the planner.
Then, her classic labels are in the back as well.
So, four full pages of stickers in the back of the planner is definitely something I am loving this year.
Finally, the bright painted petals design is carried through the back pocket on my planner and with the perpetual calendar. My planner also came with the painted petals ruler, but I had already removed it since I don’t typically use it. I snapped in my clear pouch this year as well and plan to store a few of my most used stickers there. I also picked up this new snap-in sticky notes with the new design and I plan to keep this in my planner as well.
One last thing, I also grabbed a few of the new accessories this year- the new snap-in to do list bookmark and this long sticky note pad. It has a sticky 3M strip on the back so it can be put into the planner, too. Finally, I got the planny pack and I am planning to use it to keep my favorite pens handy.
I am hoping that this year my hourly Erin Condren will have a really functional purpose for me in my business and planning all of the many details that come with that. I will try to share more in a few months once I get into my groove with it.
Also stay tuned soon for a look at my new Happy Planner for 2017-2018, which I will be using more for fun with decorating and planning things at home.
