What to Serve with Fruit Dip

Fruit dips are a great addition to any party or gathering, and they pair well with a variety of dippable foods. When serving fruit dip, it’s important to have a selection of fruits to accompany it. Fresh strawberries, pineapple chunks, apple slices, and grapes are all popular choices to serve alongside fruit dip. The combination of the sweet and creamy dip with the natural sweetness of the fruits creates a perfect balance of flavors. In addition to fruits, you can also serve fruit dip with other dippable items such as pretzels, graham crackers, or vanilla wafers. These add a slight crunch and savory element to complement the sweetness of the dip and fruit. For a more indulgent option, you could even serve the fruit dip with pieces of pound cake or angel food cake. No matter what you choose to serve with fruit dip, you can be sure that it will be a hit at your next gathering.

How do you store leftover dip?

Leftover dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Before storing, make sure to give the dip a good stir to mix in any separated ingredients. If the dip has been sitting out at room temperature for an extended period of time, it’s best to discard it as it can become a breeding ground for bacteria. When storing the dip, you can also place a layer of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the dip to prevent any air from getting in and causing it to spoil more quickly. It’s important to always use clean utensils and not to double dip when serving the dip to help prevent contamination.

Can I freeze this pineapple cream cheese dip?

If you know you won’t be able to finish the dip within a few days, you can also freeze it in a freezer-safe container for up to 2-3 months. Just make sure to thaw it in the refrigerator before serving again.

  1. This looks absolutely delicious! One thing with the recipe though, you may want to update it to show .3oz for the vanilla pudding mix, instead of 3oz. I bought 2 of the 1.5oz boxes and then realized, before I put it in, the regular size is 0.3oz. Thank you!

    1. Hey Jennifer! The cheesecake pudding mix we used is a 3.4 oz. box. The sugar free version is only 1 ounce. That may be the difference, but I don’t know of any .3 or 1.5 ounce boxes of pudding available.
