Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
When it comes to delicious appetizers that everyone loves, this easy Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe can’t be beat! It is so easy to put together, and everyone raves about how good it is- you may even want to make double! It is super cheesy, and made using pre-cooked chicken for an easy appetizer that delivers every time.
Baked Buffalo Chicken Dip
This recipe is for a super simple baked Buffalo Chicken Dip, but I do have suggestions for making Buffalo Chicken Dip in the Slow Cooker below!
Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken (pulled, shredded, or chunked- we used precooked pulled chicken, but you can also shred up a rotisserie chicken or use canned chunk chicken, whichever is preferred.)
- ¾ cup Franks buffalo sauce
- 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Crumbled blue cheese for topping
- Green onions or chives for topping
How to Make Buffalo Chicken Dip
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, and spray an 8×11 inch, or similarly sized dish with non-stick spray.
Step 2: Add the cream cheese to the dish, and spread, covering the bottom of the dish.
Step 3: Pour Franks hot sauce over the cream cheese layer and spread out evenly.
Step 4: Add chicken in a single layer over the hot sauce.
Step 5: Drizzle ranch over the chicken.
Step 6: Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Step 7: Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Step 8: Top with crumbled blue cheese and green onions, and serve warm.
Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip
To make this recipe in a crock pot, simply spray your crockpot well with non-stick spray, or use a crockpot liner because of the cheese in this recipe. Then, you’ll follow the same directions for layering the dip in your baking dish for the crock pot. Cook on low for 2-3 hours, until everything is melted and bubbly. This is a great way to keep your dip warm throughout the whole party or gathering you are hosting.
