If you are new to these binder/ring bound planner styles, I’ve got a couple of helpful posts for you. Here’s how to set up a personal size planner and how to set up an A5 size planner. I’ve got my recommendations for supplies and some tips for getting started.

If you are looking for a more compact planner, the personal size can be great, or if you are like me and enjoy having more space to write, the half letter size is perfect. Also, when we talk about half letter size, these are the same as an A5 planner.

    1. I use a portrait, the only difference is the size, Portrait does 8.5×11 sheets of paper while the Cameo is wider for things like cardstock, etc.. it goes up to 12 inches.
